Over three days the participants from Brazil, Tanzania, Namibia, Tunisia, Mongolia and Germany got to know each other in their respective project groups, shared ideas and worked together on their projects. They also used the meeting to clarify expectations and objectives within their own project group. A further aim of the meeting was to network the participants across the individual projects in order to enable the sharing of lessons learned between the municipalities and the ASA Municipal scholarship holders.
As well as networking, participants also focused on the issue of how to make cooperation work in heterogeneous project teams. Here participants identified possible approaches for dealing with language barriers, different ways of working, different approaches and needs.
