Many partnerships decide to pool their know-how and plan waste management systems. These can be, for example, composting plants, recycling centers or biogas plants. However, building a waste management facility is a very complex process. This applies not only to all technical and legal issues, but also to communication between the municipal partners who want to realize such a project together. The tips we have compiled here are organised according to the various phases of a project cycle. Particular attention is paid to the different perspectives of municipalities from Germany and their partners from the Global South.
