As part of the Urban Diplomacy Exchange project, we invite German and U.S. Cities to the virtual partnership conference on "Urban Diplomacy for Sustainability" taking place on May 16 and 19, 2022, respectively in the afternoon. The event offers administrative staff with an interactive exchange of expertise on topics related to the 2030 Agenda, such as "Good Urban Governance", "Sustainable Urban Development", "Mobility" and "Energy".

Examples on strenghthening inclusive, participatory and equal opportunity urban development and sustainable local goverment.
Group work session 2:Sustainable urban planning and development
Examples on resilient and integrated urban planning, sustainable structural change, innovation and sustainable industries.
Group work session 3: Future-ready City
Examples on inclusive mobility and digitalization, resource conservation and renewable energies.
Mayors Roundtable: Local Governance for Sustainaibility
Within the virtual partnership conference, a one-hour Mayors Roundtable will take place on May 19. Employees from the city administrations have the opportunity to participate as audience members.
