Our first Germany-wide conference on Municipal Partnerships with Eastern Europe will now give all municipal actors with partnerships in Eastern Europe an opportunity to discuss current topics in municipal development cooperation and ways of working together as partners. The conference will aim to foster and strengthen these relationships. It is designed particularly for municipalities with links in the following countries: Albania, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, the Republic of Moldova and Serbia. The conference will thus be a platform for sharing knowledge and lessons learned across borders.
Delegates from German municipalities, their Eastern European partners, civil society actors and experts on Eastern Europe are cordially invited to attend. We look forward to some fascinating discussions on key areas of the partnerships and a lively exchange of ideas and experiences with specific aspects of cooperation. As well as municipal dialogue and possible mutual support, the conference will also provide a framework for participants to become more familiar with the support offered by the Service Agency Communities in One World and possible other donors.
