Together for the 2030 Agenda

Bonn, 1 December 2020. At an international virtual conference, representatives from cities and institutions discussed the post-Covid-19 era and how "building back better" could work. Municipalities and municipal partnerships have a key role to play in achieving a sustainable future in line with the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Connective Cities: Lessons learned in the COVID-19 crisis

Bonn, 29 September 2020. The COVID-19 pandemic poses an unprecedented challenge for cities worldwide. Municipalities must adapt and learn to cope with the new situation quickly. Our Connective Cities network invites German and international practitioners to a virtual series of events to share their experiences and jointly develop municipal solutions.

Upcoming Connective Cities events - Call for participants

Bonn, 22 July 2020. Local approaches by and for cities - our international community of practice Connective Cities starts the second half of the year with new events and workshops. Thematically, the events will focus on various aspects of urban infrastructure and land management. We are looking forward to your experiences from Germany and abroad.

Local Governance Exchange with African Partners

Bonn, 24 March 2020. More than 40 municipal and civil society actors from four German-Ethiopian municipal partnerships attended an expert conference hosted in the Ethiopian capital by the project 'The 2030 Agenda – Local governance exchange with African partners'. The focus of the three-day expert meeting: Localising the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development with its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
